This as been a long time coming but it was worth the wait. Whilst I know many don't like the colours and headstock I like the unique take on a classic design and now know what all of the fuss is about, it's a killer guitar. It's a BW classic that was #4 made for NAMM 200....

Nice one, congrats. Dunno what to think of the headstock yet, but the paintjob has a charm about it.

Congrats! I like the 'smear'-paint. Headstock will always be a love or hate thing.
-
excellent :D Only tried one I think but the one tyler i tried was nice enough to make me not care about the headstock  Other than the headstock (which I'm even growing to like I think) I like the rest of the design of the tylers.

That type of paintwork always reminds me of a storm on Jupiter.

Love the headstock apart from the writing all over it. Enjoy your guitar.

Cheers guys. I can why Hunter raved about his, it's just so damn good.

As a one-time Tyler owner, I do like the headstock. And they have great necks. Nice colour too!
-
Yep, that'll do. A mate has a Tyler and it is a wonderful guitar in every way. I am not a fan of the headstock if I am honest but that is of the least concern when you are playing.
-
I love the various Tyler finishes, that ones actually quite under stated! :) But I do try not to look at the headstock or their logo...

That's interesting, I hadn't thought of it that way... I think I agree, it's the writing, not the headstock itself that puts me off...
And I have actually wondered this:
the one tyler i tried was nice enough to make me not care about the headstock
I've not tried one, but I can imagine!
Nice one, and I do rather like that finish - I keep coming back for a peek at it. It is all paint, isn't it? I can't tell, or is the darker part actually wood?

I was wondering the same thing.
Love the headstocks on the Tylers :) Good score!

Thanks guys I really am digging this guitar, it really draws you in. The action is nowhere near as low as some of my guitars yet it's so easy to play, it feels so good and resonates like no other guitar I've played or owned. Ref the finish, it's all paint and is a satin finish, not glossy at all. I also like the more understated finish although if I were being very picky about the aesthetics and had bought new I would have gone with a painted headstock and various coloured pick up covers and knobs just to make it a little crazy. The pick ups are all S.Ds and I have no plans to change them, the singles are vintage stacks but all I know about the bridge is that it's measuring a tad under 10k but there's no sticker to say exactly what it is.
