My band started playing drop b and i set up my guitar myself but one problem i found is that my low b string won't stay in tune, it simply wont go to green on my tune it keep goin either sharp or flat
-
and also all my other strings is perfectly in tune on my tuner except for that low b strings.
my guitar is 25.5 inch scale and has floyd rose
-
Did you make sure your other strings are muted? The low frequency might be causing one to vibrate and interfere with your tuner
-
What guage is your lowest string?
-I don't like to use anything below a 56 for B on that scale length
What tuner are you using?
-Some don't like extended range tuning!

i think i know someone.
but i started to think it might be the machine heads maybe just because th strings are too thick.
-
Could be..what are the heads on this guitar?
Do you have access to another tuner you could check with?
-
Or try a thinner string just to check if it is the very thick gauge that is creating the problem.

Some tuners find it hard to track at low frequencies, similar to tracking of digital pitch effects.
Also without a locking nut the note produced when you hit the string will "bounce" going from higher to lower then rest at the normal. As the initial note you hit will change so much the only fixes/things that help are using a locking nut, Use thicker strings (or anything that will give you higher tension).
Try not hitting the string so hard when you tune the note, this will reduce the amount it goes out of tune when the string is initially hit :)
