I am so in. Have been GASing over a strat for long now and with my current metal resurgence this would be perfect!
Also nice way to do the giveaway. Gave me the chance to voice some of the ideas we have floating around here.

Just filled the formular. Yo, fingers crossed!
-
Dudes, lets just keep this to us 4 people.

That would be lovely. Then if one wins it we can do a timeshare thing where each one has it for a month at a time. xD
Too bad itīs on facebook too...BKP being evil, trying to get more feedback to improve their brand and stuff. bar-stewards. ;)
-
Dash it, I thought I was the only one going in for it.
-
It won't have a CBS headstock, so I won't be entering....
(^^ this is a barefaced lie)
-
Have I won it yet?

I hate him.

I hate him.
I must admit, I, too, am having trouble feeling any kind of brotherly-love towards this chap...
Doesn't even seem to be a member on here...
He appears to be one of those facebook-dwellers...
Oh well (*teeth-grinding noises*), may he have much joy of his new instrument ...
-
Do we know him? I don't...
-
Mhh alright. Would have been nice to see it go to the "family" here. Guess that ainīt happening. *old man grumble*
Just hope the chap is treating it well and if he is one who does that part of me is happy for him. ;)

It's really a shame the guitar didn't land in the family. After all we're BKP-ambassadors, a lot of us for many, many years.
-
I don't really hate him. If its a draw then whoever wins is just sheer luck. Good luck to him and lets hope he doesn't just flog it off to the first bidder and instead plays the ar*e out of that guitar.

Thatīs my sentiment entirely, but brought to the point in a better way. I somehow am more of a sore "looser" here than usually, and the main thing is that I just donīt want to see such a thing going to someone who resells it and stuff, thus the hope for it going to the family, cause I know "we" would do it justice, now we donīt and that is what pains us a bit. Of course this is all petty and overstated here. I mean we hate him as much as we hate other pickup brands. ;)
If it goes to a good guy like you discribed all is alright, sides it rather still being me. ;)
-
Of course we don't hate... We're just a tad disappointed. But it would have given me a good feeling if that guitar went to one the good guys on the forum.
-
I'm not on facebook, but I did visit the announcement, and there was a pic of him - he looks like a player to me  ("how can you tell?" I can't, he just looks like a dude who wants guitars )
Yep, hope he enjoys it
One thing I did realise/notice, though - there's a LOT more folks/activity on BKP's facebook page than there is on here now...
It does feel a little like the BKP facebook page is becoming "home", where the action is... which makes me feel a bit sad, considering the history of this place and the fact that some of us LOATHE facebook and are very unlikely to ever embrace it...
Still, things move on, I guess...

I kind of agree with Andy.
Its hard to be on facebook at work, and I don't really like how the facebook group/forum system works. Times change though, people have Facebook on their phones and I guess thats easier.
Anyway, I think Karl Stedman is a deserving winner, anything else would be silly :)
(I hate him as well though :) )

I hate Facebook because they sell their customers to other companies, maybe even to North-Korea when Kim is bidding enough.
