Title: Blackhawk bridge and Cobra neck for a Caparison Apple Horn Aurora
Post by: taliababa on February 02, 2015, 06:16:53 PM
Would a ceramic Blackhawk bridge go well with a Cobra in the neck? I've never had a guitar with a Blackhawk, so I'm considering trying it out. My favorite BKP's are Nailbombs and Warpigs. The Apple Horn has a mahogany body, bolt-on maple neck, and an ebony fretboard. I play thrash metal, groove metal and hard rock in D#, D or E standard. My rig is a Diezel VH4, Diezel 212, and a TC G Major 2.

I'd be amazed if they didn't balance volume wise. Bit early for members to comment on the Cobra with another BKP, as the Cobra is so new, but sureely they would work together.

I have a Caparison Horus with a Warpig bridge and i am thinking of a Cobra for the neck also.

I really wish black bolts or screws was an option for Nailbombs. It's purely an aesthetic thing for me. Cbombs sound great with a mahogany body.

There used to be that option, did that change? It's been a while since I bought some new pickups, but my Nailbomb/Cold Sweat combo have black covers and bolts. I don't think it was ever a selectable option on the site, but if you asked in the comments section they'd do them.
