Title: wah has lost volume and low end

Wah sounds normal when off (bypassed) but when engaged, about 25% of oomph vanishes leaving me with a puny, unspiring tone. To clarify, the wah sound is good but the tone is weak and noticeably quieter than the bypassed normal tone, making it unusable. Tried with batteries vs adaptor. No difference. Tried in isolation and in the pedal board with other pedals
No difference. What do you think???

What type of Wah is it?
Where is it in your chain? Do you have a buffer?

I've had a lot of issues with Morley wahs. From OpAmps blowing up to receiving radio signals.

Before we go into any further troubleshooting, please check you cables, batteries, powersupplies, etc. at least 3 times

I would have said dirty jack if it was doing it even when disengaged or when moved between boards.  I suspect it is a connection inside the wah, or maybe even a damaged pot or inductor.
