Finally had time to install the Flat 50 set in my American Special tele - really cool rock tones :) I would not have believed that you can get tele twang with lots of bass and mids, the bridge pu is thick but bites like a real hot tele.
SG is also loaded with Cold Sweat at the bridge and MQ at the neck. Interestingly I had to really fool around with the PU hights as the MQ has tons and tons of bass and seems to have a higher audible output than the coldsweat at the same hight.
Nevertheless I am very happy about both guitars they both have a very organic, thick rock sound with the distinctive tele and SG sound there as well. Many many many thanks to BKP for their excellent PUs and even better customer service! :)

Good looking axes there with a nice choice of PUs. Congrats!
The MQ really canīt be underestimated, like most P90s really. It might be a single coil, but the magnet is really big and strong. What I love is that it stays so clear, open, and uncompressed with such big output.

Yep, thumbs aloft from me too. A great looking pair and by the description, classics in their delivery of tone. Tele and SG are two of the best guitar tones to be had.

Nice pair there. The Flat 50's cover a lot of ground, great pickups,

If I may ask: how is the neck ?
