I really enjoy this pickup so much. It can do anything i ask of it.
I feel like mixing bass guitar is the most difficult thing to do on the planet at the moment. Back to the drawing board.

Nice playing and great tone!

Thanks! It was a really fun song to write and record. One of those that just came out of the blue.
-
that's beautiful
bass is lacking indeed, but everything else sounds amazing
that's one nice piece you wrote

Thanks, Eric.
I believe my weakness is either in performing the piece or in use of the compressor. Some notes are barely audible and some are quite loud. I may have to squish them all down with a compressor. I have all the tools I need, but lack the experience.
Cheers~

I admire anyone who can write their own stuff, I've tried but just don't seem to have it in me!
-
You just have to keep at it! You can do this, too.
-
Hmm, I'm not so sure but I will keep at it!
-
Here's what I do -
Have you ever listened to a riff that ignited your imagination? You know, you hear something, then you can imagine where it should go next? That's what I do. If I come up with something I dig, it will usually trigger things in my imagination, then I start hearing things in layers, if that makes sense. Literally, when I hear something I like, I will hear 5 or more layers of instrumentation on top of it and I just try my best to move what I hear in my mind through my fingers lol. It doesn't always work, but once you get that one riff down, it will give way to the next part. If you don't have it naturally, you will develop the ability to think in layers with your music if you keep at it.
HTH!

Great advice, thanks!

You bet! I was hesitant to tell you the truth, that a magical, intergalactic riff unicorn visits me at night whenever I leave Iron Maiden CDs on my windowsill.
-
LOL!

Well done Frank, nice track, not quite my music but I dig the playing and creativity! And the guitar sounds great on this take.

Always good to have a frank on my side. Thank you my man!
