Hey guys,
I just did a complete overhaul of the electronics of my PRS Singlecut.
Initially it had the original pickups in it, the #7s, OK, but not great.
Then I decided to put the Rio Grande BBQ in the bridge, amazing pickup, but a little barky in this guitar. So I put that one in my Tokai Goldtop.
In the bridge I now have the Suhr Doug Aldrich, simply awesome pickup.
In the neck I have put a Mule, wow, nice pickup.
Off course it has a lot less output than the Suhr, but I'm not to bothered about that, I mainly use my neck pickup for leads, and for that I use either a wah with boost or a MXR GT-OD.
So output wise, I'm OK.
I really love the clarity of the mule, I really hate muddy neck pickups, so the mule is amazing in this regard.
What it seems to be lacking is a little low mids.
Any advise on how to set up the height?
Once that is dialed in I'll write a short review.
