Title: EBMM
Post by: Iced Dragon on May 23, 2015, 03:51:29 PM
Hi all,

I've always been intrigued by EBMM guitars (at least by the Axis Super Sport and Petrucci models), never played any, though.

So I've been wondering, what exactly is the difference between an Axis and Axis Super Sport?

Recently I discovered Johnny Hiland and he currently uses a Silhouette. This seems like a very versatile guitar. Is it particulary suited/used for certain styles?

What do you think of EBMM or these models in particular?

cheers

Superb necks, well made guitars.
SS plays faster than Axis
Just kidding. Here you go:

SS is hardtail or tremolo, Axis is Floyd.
The Axis has no tone knob either.

Otherwise pretty much the same thing. Got to Axii Super Sports and they're very, very, VERY good guitars. Had a JP6 which wasn't as versatile, didn't sustain as well... although the neck was fantastic.
