Everyone has a DD-20. Mine's been around the world 5 times and has seen better days. I decided to embark upon a little journey.
1. Replace 80's tech LEDs with newer, clear units
2. Clean and inspect both boards
3. Refinish
4. Reassemble
5. Rock

Painted - removed and cleaned all rubber bumpers and replaced grommets/oiled pins - feels new!

What's left to do:
1. Replace remaining LEDs
2. Modify LCD screen Back lighting.
