Title: Abraxas Bridge - Metal
Post by: fdesalvo on June 28, 2015, 06:01:28 AM
Here's a track I did that showcases some of the Abraxas' heavier sides, on rhy and lead.  It's often criticized as being too soft on the low E for drop tuned work, but if you set your amp up right, you can really get away with a lot.

It sounds really good to me, reminds me of the Black Dog a lot.

My Abraxas set arrived this morning and will shortly be installed in my PRS Bernie Marsden SE. If they sound as good as yours I'll be well chuffed.

Sounds great Frank! Pretty tight for a vintagehot pickup. I love those blooming solonotes.

^Thank you, my friend.  I just can't possibly say enough good things about BK's lineup.
