Will the piledriver do a good van halen tone? I know Van halen is idealy humbucker but i really love my tele and im looking for sum pickups that will handle higher gain styles. Also play alot of Muse and Zep again these are humbucking tones. Just looking for a hotter tele. My main pedals are a Fuzz Factory and Rat 2.

For a great Led Zep 1 tone the Brown Sugar can't be beaten but the Piledriver is a lovely pickup for hotter Tele applications and has a fantastic crunch tone.Not sure I'd describe it as EVH brown sound but into the right amp you won't be far off.

could you maybe have the tele routed for humbuckers?
