Ok so in my Les Paul I want to put in a warpig (same as Lee) and I am not sure whether to get the Ceramic or Alnico. For those who don't know, he is in Bring Me the Horizon and I will link some songs that I'm trying to achieve the tone.

I thought about putting these in my Les Paul but I don't need massively high ouput pickups, just something with enough power and better than the stock one, so I have a ceramic nailbomb in mine. Don't know if its the same sort of difference between a Nailbomb and a Warpig, but I have an alnico and a ceramic version of the Nailbomb in 2 Les Pauls. The alnico one is more "looser" and thuddy, whilst the ceramic has a tighter bass and is more trebley to me.
If you watch Lee's rig rundown his gear is a lot different to than it was in the Suicide Season era, I think he was using ESP's with EMG pickups in with Orange amps. Now he's a Marshall JCM800 user with an OD pedal with the Warpig of course. He uses an 80 gauge bottom string as well which is where that chunky sound comes from!

Hi,
Lee has the Ceramic Warpig installed. As he plays in drop tuning a lot he needed to make sure the definition remained.
