I've stitched together all the modern metal clips I could find on the site to help me narrow down a pickup to try next. With permission from Ben to share it others you can listen to it below and a really big thanks to Ben for sharing the info on how they were recorded. Very helpful information! ^_^
"All the humbucker clips were recorded on the same mid 80s LP custom, which was relatively bright.
We used an AXE FX Ultra:
Modern Metal Rhythm: "PVH 5105" - American high-gain (Peavey 5150)
Modern Metal Lead: "USA Lead 2" - American high-gain lead (Mesa Boogie Mark IV)"
