Hey all! This guitar has a Basswood body (with mahogany tone block), Mahogany neck (bolt on), maple top, and a rosewood fingerboard! I'm THINKING (could be wrong) it's a warmer guitar. It comes stock with Illuminators but I'm a bareknuckle junky so I want to swap the pups! I have Juggernauts in my alder based JP6 BFR and Holy Divers in my Custom Regius 6 (coming soon!!!). What would you guys recommend for this guitar? Rebel Yell/VHII? Black Dog/VHII? Blackhawks perhaps? Nailbomb/Cold Sweat? SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

I would wait until you have actually had the guitar in your hands and can describe the sound with more confidence. Going by what woods are in there can only tell you so much.
If it is warm and middy the Cold Sweat would be a good option. But I would wait and see what it sounds like first!

That might be a good idea.. How would you suggest testing this out? What's the best method of determining it? Just jam through my normal rig and use my ears?

And compare it to how it sounds when unplugged. To really recommend something we would need to know if it sounds bright/dark, middy/scooped, etc when unplugged. if it is middy and dark unplugged, then obviously you can afford to go more bright and scooped than if it dark and scooped sounding unplugged ... Alternatively if you put a bright and middy pickup into a bright and middy guitar it will be too much.
