Yo ho ho;
here is the memorable bit from Shine On You Crazy Diamond. It's my strat with Mother's Milk through an Analogman Mini Chorus straight into my cr@ppy cr@ppy soundcard (remember: it's cr@ppy). No amp or that kind of stuff, so maybe this is not so useful, ha. I will say, that with a compressor, chorus and a good amp, you'll be able to get that nice tone, although maybe apaches would be even more the better bet.
Also, yes, I know the note chokes out when I bend it up, the guitar's intonation needs sorting. Plus, the solo is not correct, I know. I tried to play it by memory and I've been drinking beer and watching Terminator 3 this evening. But hey, you get the idea! :D

Ye, I think the Apaches might be better suited to thatkind of Gilmour stuff

Yeah, I mean this really isnt the best example of the MM to be honest. I just wanted to get something up quickly that showed that they clean up nicely. I'll try and get my amp and all that sorted out and play it through properly for you if I get a chance. Incidentally, I got a brilliant Crazy Diamond tone with my neck VHII coil tapped with chorus and compression, that sounded great.
