Title: Abraxas in Rg?

Abraxas bridge, crawler neck in basswood rg?

Is this a 24 fret guitar? In that case I would consider the VHII neck.

Another option you might consider is the Holydiver neck, which is a very light wind but the AV magnet and more modern wire help to give it a bit more articulation.

It seems i wasnt far of with the abraxas then!
The vhii would be a very different feel to a crawler which is fat n round.

Im going to using the guitar (yes 24 fret) to experiment with. Things like altered tunings, dropped tunings, ambinent sounds. Nothing too aggressive but keeps that option open a little.

Spec-wise they are similar but they do sound different. Abraxas is noticeably brighter. I had them back to back in the same guitar.

I would not have expected the Abraxas neck to be a lot brighter than the Crawler neck but it was in that particular guitar I had both in.

At least in my rig, they sound almost identical except the Crawler is higher output. Different woods or amps may skew the sound as well.
