Title: BKP/Keeley demo Emerald SE/Trilogies/Blackdog
Post by: HJM on May 17, 2005, 08:50:03 PM
Another demo I did a while ago for keeley, might be of use to you guys!

First up is my Gordon Smith semi with Emerald Special Editions into a Keeley SD1 and Super Reverb

Next the old PRS and Black Dogs, through trusty SD1 and cranked Marshall

cr@p semi clean countryesque nonsense is my Jap rosewood board strat with  trilogies, with once again the SD1 boosting the Super Reverb

Then the PRS is back......

Cheers guys....

I think the new SD1 mod has a switch that alters the germanium diode response, giving it a slightly different texture. I must admit I have the old one, so I've not given the push pull version a try!

The emeralds sound nice. Did I detect a bit of Duane Allman in there.

I know, I have the same thing all the time when I'm doodling on my guitar. Think of it as a compliment; Knopfler is one hell of a guitar player. There's a nice twangy thang goin' on in those Emeralds. ZZ Top meets Dire Straits. :D
