Hi All!
Replacing the stock Seymour Duncan 59 and Pearly Gates with- Riff Raffs or Emeralds? Alder body, Rosewood fretboard- thanks for your input! (I own both sets RR and E's- so I am not wanting to purchase any other pups)- thanks Mark

If you want to spank your strat, go ahead. I think they don't suit a strat at all. They do best in darker sounding Les Pauls.
So, what kind of tone your lookin for and which amp(s) you have.

I use an Axe-Fx Standard- not looking for anything really, just had pickups left over and didn't really want to keep the SD's...

What kind of music?
For blues/bluesrock/hardrock/maybe early metal: Abraxas or Crawler.
For modern metal something like the Juggernaut or if you like P90's: Stockholm.

I already own Riff Raffs and Emeralds...I am going to use one of the two- I play all kinds of music...i play at home and record my own music...I don't gig out...

I would try the Emeralds first. Strats usually benefit from pickups that have a bit more power than PAF types.
Cheers Stephan

Good call out of those. Just try the Emerald. Maybe you can use a different potvalue if things get to bright.
