Title: a nice problem
Post by: felttips on March 30, 2006, 01:10:09 PM
I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice regarding which guitar i should put my recently aquired mississipi queens into
The choice is between an SG standard or a Prs custem 22 ( I would change the selector switch to a toggle one).Would the sound be much different. Thanks for your time

Well I'm a sucker for SGs and LP Jrs with P90s

So I'd vote for the SG (which is usually a clear indication to head in the opposite direction)

+1 for the SG.  Mahogany and P-90's gives a great sound!  Later put VHII's in the PRS!!!!

thanks for the tips  The SG it is then.Any more suggestions for the prs as I definately want to change the pick ups as they are so sterile sounding.I was looking for a smoother more clasic rock /punk rock style which cleans up nicely
