What are your thoughts on the Trilogy Suite set? how does the set handle cleans, overdrive and high gain sounds?
How would the Trilogy's compare to the Dimarzio injector in the neck and bridge?
-
I found it to be a very versatile set. It had more bite than a normal Strat set and took gain like a champ but also cleaned up well and retained a proper single coil feel. There are better options if you're playing lighter stuff but if you're playing Rock/Metal mostly but might dabble in other styles it's great.

So how are the cleans, how would they sound doing clean hendrix stuff.
-
They clean up really well. I was expecting pickups that were gain monsters but they're not like that at all. I'm not saying they're the best option for Hendrix but they do clean up very well indeed. If I was after a single coil set that would take plenty gain but also do good cleans and has a wide operating window, I'd certainly be seriously looking at Trilogy Suites.

How do they compare to the other contemporary sets like the sinners and the cobras?

Not tried the Cobras but the Sinners are very different. They're much hotter, darker and thicker. The Trilogy Suites can still give you a Fender sound whereas the Sinners just don't; they're far less versatile.
