I am about to go with mules.
Looking for a creamy sound like this one:

anyone care to chime in?

I am also looking at the Crawler, which one to fatten a strat (although mine is quite fat) and go from blues to metal?

I would have suggested an Abraxas but I figured you had ordered the Mule

Agreed, the Abraxas would strike a nice compromise between the Mule and Crawler. Best of both worlds.

Abraxas - VHII (IME) was brutally trebely in my alder strat.

sounds lovely in my alder jazzmaster. vintage PAF, with a smidgen more push and Fenderish character

crawler aint much of a paf but its a WONDERFUL pickup especially for strats
