Title: BKP Cold Sweat doing Killswitch Engage
Post by: Kride on June 18, 2016, 06:07:30 PM
Got these today, digging!

I had previously a budget set in the guitar (Tonerider Generator pickups) and these (BKP CS) got way more definition. The Toneriders aren't bad either and I recommend everyone to check them out. On par with most Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan stuff.

Anyways... I recorded first with the Toneriders and gulped a few beers a long with recording and soldering so the CS tracks might not be as tight xD

The modeling software (Bias FX) makes the differences very marginal but whatever. When I tracked the guitars the CS was way more articulate and had less muddy low end. Better attack as well. All in all, there is a difference.

Here's the guitar, I've done 'a few' mods compared to the original PRS SE Åkesson

I agree with your assessment regarding the improvement of the CS over the Toneriders
