Just want a few opinions please :)
My son loves the Jugg in his ash 7-string for the clear string definition with gain, particularly on low notes (very djent! lol).
He's just bought a Gibson Les Paul BFG, which is a stripped back LP with a chambered mahogany body, maple top, mahogany set neck.
So he is thinking about another Jugg in the LP, but do you think it might be a bit dark? Would a Cold sweat or Miracle man still have that string definition like the Jugg?
He plays rock and metal mainly, through a H&K tubemeister.
Thanks :)

I would suggest either the trusted Holydiver/Emerald combo or if he'd prefer something a little more 'classic' sounding, a Cold Sweat set takes some beating in a Les Paul.

Own a Les Paul and owned the Juggernaut. The Juggernaut has plenty of cut and definition to my ears show it would sound I don't know but it definitely wouldn't be dark or muddy or any thing like that.
I think it would work very well.
Can't go wrong with a cold sweat in a les paul though

Thanks guys - I am leaning towards the Jugg still, at the moment.
(oh, and we can't go with an Emerald neck as it's a p90 rout at the neck)

In that case the Stockholm in the P90 size would be a great combination:)

Cold Sweat / Nantucket could be a good combo

Tim has suggested that the cold sweat would probably be the best option, either with a supermassive, Nantucket, or blue note neck :)

I almost suggested Cold Sweat / Supermassive
