Title: Bare Knuckle MBK-3 (Aftermath Set)
Post by: johnny_rock_it on July 30, 2016, 12:17:56 AM
I dug through some of the older posts, and they were so helpful I thought I'd add my share to the "database".

My contribution is a set of MBK-3. https://www.mansonguitarworks.com/product/manson-mbk-3-pickup-13

They're essentially a set of Aftermaths in an Ibanez 5521 QM (mahogany body + maple cap with maple neck + rosewood fretboard.)

The neck pickup sounds crisp and bell like--Has a good commanding presence that brings out the wood tone of your instrument.

The bridge can take gain really well and sounds very tight. It's got a lot of power, but the best way I can describe it is "tight". If you play sloppy, it will be hard to hide behind the distortion.
