Title: My fourth mini
Post by: gwEm on August 31, 2016, 09:48:24 AM
(http://files.effectsdatabase.com/gear/pics/korg_pitchblack-mini_002.jpg)

I got this the other week. I must admit my original pitch black wasn't the most reliable, but still I've come back for more. This mini version runs on batteries or external power. Its a good size, and the display is very readable.

Only used it for one gig so far, but I was happy.

One problem is that the output jack is rather loose. I can't send it back since I only discovered it after I attached my pedalboard velcro and so on. I hope this is not a sign of poor reliability to come.

Nice one gwEm. I always wonder if a display in this format is stagefriendly, but apparently it is.  :cheesy:

Yes, the display is good and bright, and as it turns out a very similar size to the original pitch black.

I need a mini tuner, myself -- but will probably spring for the TC mini tuner.

I've got the TC Polytune mini on my board and really like it.

I'd recommend the full-size Polytune if you plan on using it for bass at all.  It has a bass mode.  The guitar mode (which is all you get on the Mini) is not good for tuning basses.
