Title: PG Blues Neck Pickup

Hi there

Very tempted by a set of pg blues but curious on how far the neck pickup strays from the a regular a2 Paf style pickup, say stormy monday.  With the he excretion on the phase I understand the only difference is use of formvar wire.  Anybody comments on the neck alone?

I just put a pair of PG blues on my 71 Gold top routed deluxe and I have to say, I think the Neck pick up is superb, round without being muddy (i have 50's wiring schematic), Just dark enough to have character. I have never heard the Stormy Mondays but I am sure that you will love the PG set.  One of the tricks people seem to miss is  to use the volume and tone controls on the guitar to create so many more tones.
Anyhow the PG's gave me all I wanted from an A2 low output wind, very nice indeed  ( i went without covers)
