small board powered by a single 9v Lithium battery
cheap-o Chinese tuner -> xotic EP booster -> MXR carbon copy -> Palmer pocket amp
then direct into the PA via XLR
-
larger board for the garage rock band I've joined:
modded Boss TU-2 -> Joe Doc rangemaster clone -> Morley wah/volume -> Dope FX Earthdweller -> TC Hall of Fame mini
The Earthdweller is a modded Big Muff with a full tone stack. It has my main distortion sound.
The whole thing goes into a Hughes and Kettner CF100 power amp, and then into a 1x12

Very nice
How's that Joe Doc pedal? I've been hmming and hahing about a treble booster recently, and I noticed they seem to have pretty decent choice and prices. And also they seem to do a rangemaster and tonebender in one (which is a fuzz I've also been hmming and hahing about for a while  ).

I've been wondering about that fuzz too.
My Joe Doc treble booster is very good, and furthermore Joe Doc himself is a really nice guy to deal with.

They look great! I really need to get a decent power supply for my gig board...

Thanks, that's good to know.
What's the story with Joe Doc, out of interest? I think it says on the website that they're made in Germany, yet the prices are in dollars and I think their Ebay store says the stuff is sent from the USA? I don't mind one way or the other but I'd just kind of like to know
And I'm guessing you got yours new from him, since you say he's good to deal with?

It seems he's half American and half German and he appears to live his life between Berlin and the US. My pedal was sent from Berlin anyway.
I got my pedal new from him yes. We discussed some options for small customisations that he carried out. There was a slight delay between him sending the pedal before he could get back to Berlin and do the adjustments.
We had some nice banter about Judas Priest in between. Seems like a labour of love for him. He's a genuine guy no doubt. Doesn't mean you'll like the sound of the pedals of course(!)

Haha yeah that's true
Thanks for the info, though, it helps a lot.
