I picked up a Boss RE-20 in a trade. Still getting used to all the controls but so far I've gotten some really cool effects out of it. It is kind of similar to the Boss Tera Echo and EQD Afterneath, in mixing reverb and delay. The delay is an emulation of a Roland Space Echo tape delay.
If you look carefully at the photo below you can see it (if you click on the photo it will enlarge). I did some rearranging of my pedals so that I could fit it on there.

One of my all-time favourite pedals; man, does it colour your tone, though!

Yeah well that's one reason why I have isolated it through the strategic use of Boss LS-2 Line Selectors.
Here's a schematic for the Pedaltrain 2:

And one for the Pedaltrain Jr that has the front end pedals, EQ, and ISP Decimator G-String:

Here's a photo of the boards linked together with all the various cables in place (except for the cable from the guitar to the wah). As you can see it is pretty neat really for that many cables.

I had one of those and really enjoyed playing with it. Never used it in any songs in the end, but I had loads of fun.

I am using it for an improvised intro over a loop of music samples from Jerry Goldsmith's score for the 1968 film Planet of the Apes, and it works well for that. Using the clean channel and a Boss RV-5 after it with the MXR ZW38 chorus before it.
This is one of the better videos I found of it online, which shows how it interacts with other time-based effects.
