				Hey Guys,

Have a 2005 Flying V that I'm going to set up for standard 'C' tuning.
 13-56 gauge strings.

For stoner/doom, is the Warpig set just the ticket?
Looking for huge, dark, fluid neck pickup sound.  Bridge is there to 'match', but won't be used in this band.

I'm adding a Maestro Vibrola to the guitar at the same time.
It usually takes a little sustain away, but adds a little 'punch' to the guitar.
(I have a 61 reissue SG in standard 'C' with '57 classic alnico 2 pickups and a bigsby tremolo added.)

Going through a pedalboard with an active volume pedal, a few delays, reberb, and a phaser.

Hitting two Hovercraft Dwarvenaut 20's dimed.

These amps kinda have thier own 'built in' fuzz/gain and are only 'one channel'.
The volume pedal rolls back to clean.

 Any opinions would be welcome.

				that's what warpigs are for

Strange as it may sound I think the right combo for this might be a Mule neck with a Riff Raff bridge.

Given all the fuzz etc you might want a lower output PAF type pickup

I think Warpigs might also work but the Warpig neck might be too hot for rhythm work

Riff Raff sounds a little too cutting in the examples I hear, but may help fight the darkening and volume boost of the big strings/low tuning. (I like dark btw)

With the high output of the Warpig (bridge), would a coil split option approximate a p90is feel?

I'm also thinking Mule (or Cold sweat) in the neck spot. Really liking the overtones/harmonics/fluid tones. Definitely don't need extra high output there.
