thinking of sticking a nailbomb or warpig in the bridge of my rd. got a nailbomb in my sg which sounds cool. anyone know if I need short or long legs? cheers....
-
Similar construction to the Les Paul i think, which will take either short or long leg pups. Probably need a 50mm spacing though.

MEASURE the pole spacing. Some Gibsons have 53mm and if someone has put a TonePros in there it would most likely be 53mm.
I have an alnico Nailbomb in my Explorer, sounds excellent. I found the Warpig a bit too dark there. Mine have the long legs and work okay. Long legs can be an issue in the neck spot though with the pickup bottoming out. I would recommend taking your pickups out and having a look

thanks for the replies guys. I play in a sort of heavy psyche/desert/stoner band so might even give the warpig a try as it sounds like it has a heavier bottom end. waddya reckon?

the ceramic version should be fine

In a darker guitar the alnico Warpig will basically give you Masters of Reality tone all day long. Which is great, except for when you want to do something else.

thanks all. just ordered the nailbomb. already got one in my sg which sounds ace so why not.......
