Similar construction to the Les Paul i think, which will take either short or long leg pups. Probably need a 50mm spacing though.

MEASURE the pole spacing.  Some Gibsons have 53mm and if someone has put a TonePros in there it would most likely be 53mm.

I have an alnico Nailbomb in my Explorer, sounds excellent.  I found the Warpig a bit too dark there.  Mine have the long legs and work okay.  Long legs can be an issue in the neck spot though with the pickup bottoming out. I would recommend taking your pickups out and having a look

thanks for the replies guys. I play in a sort of heavy psyche/desert/stoner band so might even give the warpig a try as it sounds like it has a heavier bottom end. waddya reckon?

In a darker guitar the alnico Warpig will basically give you Masters of Reality tone all day long.  Which is great, except for when you want to do something else.
