Looks like I have melted the insulation on my bridge pickup wire a bit with the soldering iron. The soldering iron has been a real PITA recently and hence I have had several attempts at getting a good connection. I seem to have a good connection on the neck pickup now after trimming the wires back a bit and using baker's soldering fluid but and the same with the bridge pickup but when I touch wires inside the cavity the bridge pickup seems to short out. I am wondering if the slightly melted insulation might have damaged the insulation on the hot wire inside and it is shorting against the black and/or bare wires.
I would have to cut quite a lot off the bridge pickup wires and I really don't want to do that if I don't have to. They are expensive pickups (BKP Warpigs).
Hoping some of you have some experience to share

I was going to ask if you had a picture of the cavity where all the wires are running? To see where the short may be occurring?
depending on where and how the short is happening there may be a few different solutions depending on how intense the issue.

This has been worked out. There was a problem with the pot
