Title: Help with Edge Zero II bridge
Post by: one on August 07, 2017, 04:51:33 PM
A friend of mine gave me his guitar to try to set up. It's an ibanez premium 7 with Edge Zero II and zps. The bridge is completely bent forward so that the string action is very high and uncomfortable. Taking a look to the zps in the back, it's almost all the way towards the neck, so the tension is at his max and it should bring the bridge down, though it's exactly the opposite.

How should I start providing I'm going to change strings? should I turn the zps back when strings are removed or what? Thanks for your advice in advance.

By the way my mate uses a 9 set, I don't understand how that medium-low tension makes the bridge so bent forward, so I'm asking if there's a better way to set up from scratch.
