At the moment I am building a guitar with the following specs:
Swamp Ash body, super strat style with a quilted bubinga veneer
Bubinga Bolt-on neck
Pau Ferro fretboard (24 frets)
With a Hipshot, fixed, bridge
I have a C-Bomb and a Holy Diver lying around and since I want this guitar to be a Riffin' machine, I think I will go with the C-Bomb
The neck pickup needs to be clear and defined. Complex chords need to shine and every note needs to be heard.
The amps I will mainly be using are the Victory Kraken and Sheriff.

Wood etc doesn't seem to have as much of an influence when it comes to the neck pickup.
In terms of pickup that will go well with the C-Bomb and should be able to provide what you are looking for the Rebel Yell neck might be your best bet

Swamp ash and a C-bomb?... probably a bad idea unless the riffing machine you want is that of The Exploited licks

Thnx for the responses!
What would you suggest for an Swamp ash/Bubinga guitar?
Both have a similar upper mid tone, kinda bright, though not as bright as maple. Swamp Ash also has a nice bottom end. Bubinga will make a guitar sustain for days.
I also have a Suhr Doug Aldrich and a Holy Diver lying around with nickel covers and a Black Dog in zebra

Yes the Nailbomb bridge can go very mid '80s Exploited in the wrong guitar.
Probably safer to try the Holy Diver first.

Juggernaut for swamp ash would be my choice, but maybe too modern sounding for you?

I have a Jugg in the bridge of my Mayones Setius, I love it!
But for this guitar I want something a little less modern. So no I'm thinking of the Holy Diver, but I still need to figure out the neck pickup.
I might even go for something a little more vintage in the neck.
Any suggestions?

Look at the Emerald-neck. A VHII-neck could also do the trick. Quite smooth though.
