On this album I double tracked all the guitars , One with a set of nailbombs in and the other track with a set of warpigs.
I have tried so many different makes of pickup in my time but I am now firmly fixed on the BKP`s
I think the second track Swamp King shows that even high output pups can have a bit of clarity and feel even when the amp is driven hard.

This is not a plug for my band/album etc just a example of recorded tones from BKP`s

I can't say I hate the Nailbombs but they are not my cup of tea, I like the warpigs far better in my guitars.

I also like the Warpigs but I find the Nailbombs just seem to work right for me and my main guitar and amp.
As with everything to do with tone it is subjective and down to personal taste.
I find I have a little more control with the nailbomb live and a cranked amp.

You're right about the set up, with mine I feel the opposite, I couldn't control the shrillness of the Nailbomb using a baritone, SS frets and a 5153, meanwhile the Warpig is much more versatile with the rest of my gear and the solos doesn't suck so much.

I enjoyed the tones you got a lot also some very cool riffs! What kind of amp did you use to record this?
