Hey,
I bought a Ceramic Nailbomb and an AlNiCo coldsweat back in February and have gotten super sidetracked installing them. I finally bought a soldering iron and plan on installing them this weekend. this is my guitar (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/prs-se-singlecut-korina-electric-guitar) and I was planning on using this wiring diagram (http://guitarelectronics.com/2-humbuckers-3-way-toggle-switch-1-volume-1-tone-coil-tap-series-parallel/). I have a few questions.
- I bought a drop-in kit from a PRS vendor that has 1 push/pull but I would need to desolder and install the other one. The push/pull has two caps on it and I am very unsure about what mF/material capacitors I should add to the new one.
- I still need to buy solder and wire. A recommendation of a good vendor in the US would be helpful. Also a few forums mention using pure silver wire, I can't find anywhere that sells the stuff. Is copper fine?
- Lastly the pickups have been sitting for a while in their boxes, the temp/humidity has been pretty stable but I am still a little worried. Any insight?
Thanks for your considerations
