Title: Life in Cornwall... does it rock ?

Bit of an odd question this but here goes .........

I currently live in Hull (east Yorkshire) but I'm lookin for a new job and a change of scene.

Amongst other places I have seen a job that I really fancy in Cornwall, a company based near Newquay.

I've been on holiday down to newquay and other local spots quite often over the last few years, mainly go down for the Surf.  So have a bit of an idea what its like down there but my main question is , does anyone know what the live local music scene is like around that part of Cornwall ?

Are there many bands doing the rounds, is there a decent community of local musicians around there as a top priority should I move down there would be to get my own band going again.

So, there you go, are there any axe wielding Kernow locals on the forum ?

cant help with the cornwall issue.... but dont suppose theres a job on offer in the Hertfordshire area??? the music scene here is REALLY starting to pick up.....  i know at least one member on here (malicious steve) gigs in the area....

Well, BKP are now based in Cornwall and I must say it is a very nice place to live. Bands are starting o come down here more often now. Sikth were here a few months ago. And there are plenty of musicians around.
