Hi I have a ibanez mtm 2 and a few years back I fitted active blackout pups in it. After installing bare knuckles I'm my Ltd ec-1000 and loving the sound ( blackhawks) I am looking at now getting some for my ibanez. I am tempted by a set of nail bombs.
My question is can I just install the passives in place of the actives or will I need to do a full rewire, new pots, Jack, switches etc.
If so could anyone help me out with any info on doing this. Also if I decide to go down this route I I would have a set of active blackouts for sale if anyone is interested.
