Hey looking for all your advice on which pickups to put in my new Schecter C-1 Plus, I emailed tim but havn't got reply yet, so wondering what you guys would suggest.
Here's the sound Im after:
I like to play both and looking for a mix between the classic sleaze rock of Guns'n'Roses and British post hardcore bands such as Fightstar(I know, I now)(PRS Custom 24 or 22 i think) so it would have a bit of an emo or metal sound as well.

I've got a C1+, but I don't have BKP's in it though...
However, C1+ being all mahogany, it's very dark and bassy in tonal character. So you would need pickups with a very clear articulation. You don't need very much bass in the pu's, rather the opposite, you need treble and high mids in them that will dampen the bassy character of the C1+... That's my advice anyway.
Which BKP to choose from these views, I have no idea, someone else could surely point you in the right direction...?

well i don't know what it's features are but I just checked out the Rebel Yell clip in the players forum and that tone is amzing, i'd love to get tone like that and so am looking towards the release of the Rebel Yell now. Does anyone know if they are articulate pups or not?

I have Rebel Yells in my PRS Standard which is all mahogany. I think the sound would be what you are after, great drive and push with a lot of mids.

How about cold sweat bridge, A2 mule neck?
Just a suggestion....

What kind of tones do they give? The ones I'm after?

Since this guitar is string thru body, mahog body and mahog neck wont it be heavy on mids and bassy? Is the Rebel yell Trebly to counterbalance this or should you go for pickups that compliment your wood?
I would like a bit of balance, im new to woods and all that. :P

Try mailing Tim again, our server went down and he lost a few mails before he had time to reply to them.

yeah i realised and emailed him again, he suggests either the VH2 or newe Rebel Yell.
Since its so near Ill probably just wait till the new site and samples are up now.
Also, are teh samples gonna be of different types of music, cause i would like to compare riffs like the Steve Stevens clip but I also know that a lot of people wanna hear metal solo samples.
