Title: VHII in Swamp ash

Hi!
Anybody had any experience with the VHII set in a maple neck and swamp ash body guitar?
I have used this pickup set for nearly ten years and love the tone in alder and mahogany ,but i have never tried them in Swamp ash.

I have one in an ash Fender HSS, yet with a rosewood fingerboard. Quite punchy in that one.
