Everyone knows that Marshall are fairly middy (lots of midrange) sounding amps. Well, I have a Marshall and I'm really liking the Nailbomb for replacement pickups in my Shecter C-1 Classic. The thing that's worrying me though is that Nailbombs have a reputation for having a lot of midrange. Now, my guitar is fairly bassy and dark (neck thru, string thru mahogany will do that) and my Marshall's pretty middy as to be expected, so should I worry about putting Nailbombs into my guitar??? Thanks, guys for your knowledge and advice.

Well, I ordered the Nailbombs anyways. Ha, take that!

Good thread, lol...
If you find the sound too dark, you can replace all your pots with 1 Meg or no-load pots, they will increase power and brightness.

I can't see it being a problem, the highs are good on a nailbomb and teh mids should just bring out the tone of the guitar more.

too much mids? noooo such thing 8) Hope you love the pups - guitar will sound beastly
