Title: Stoner / doom Juggernaut video
Post by: Dave Sloven on May 02, 2018, 11:51:01 AM
I stumbled across this from my youtube feeds and saw that the guitar used is a Schecter Stealth C7 with the Juggernaut set

I figure it might be a good reference for people who want to hear how a 7-string guitar with Juggernauts sounds playing something other than djent.

They are far more versatile than what people think

They are fantastic pickups that sound great in spite of the artist association.

In my experience, the best result is had in a basswood body / maple bolt on neck / rosewood board instrument like what they were designed to be put in.  They do many tones very well.

I know Misha likes the inner / outer coil split tones but for my money, the outer coil sound isn't so great and I much prefer the neck pickup in parallel instead.  That option gets a lot of use on my RG7421.
