Title: High gain bkp pickups for a swampash body flying v?
Post by: aidilomorello on June 29, 2018, 12:45:00 AM
Hello everyone! I just made a guitar from indonesia  for $330 usd. It's a flying v with swampash body maple neck and just 1 bridge pickup.

I have a alnico warpig on my mahogany v but i was wondering what would be a great pickup to pair with a bright guitar. I was thinking of the ragnaroks, but decided to go on the forums first before i make my decision.

Would love to hear some of your suggestion

You might want to try the Warpig in your new V and see how that goes, and get a Ragnarok for the mahogany one.

As the guitar has only one bridge pickup I would strongly recommend Miracle Man bridge, it`s hi gain pickup well suited for brighter guitars
Despite being hot ceramic pickup it does many things really well, good enough on cleans, truly amazing on leads and equally amazing on rhythm work too.
It`s my favorite BKP pup to that point that I have it in 2 guitars.

Ragnarok seems to be beefed up MM I suppose, but only guessing.
