Plan to use a Holydiver in the bridge position, along with Trilogy Suites in the Middle and Neck positions. So I'll have an HSS configuration in a Strat-Shaped Alder Body bolt on Maple Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard. I will be playing some clean, crunch, and hi-gain with this guitar, which is mostly intended for metal. My metal rhythm playing and most hi-gain leads will be with the Holydiver Bridge. Some hi-gain lead playing will also be done on the Trilogy Suite in the Neck position. Mid-gain sounds will be played through any of the three, and at times Middle with Neck Trilogy. My clean playing will primarily be done using either the Middle Trilogy or the Neck Trilogy, and perhaps at times both together. This by a 5-Way Switch with the following positions, 1 Bridge, 2 Split-Bridge + Middle, 3 Middle, 4 Middle + Neck, 5 Neck
Does anyone know if there is any actual differences between the Middle and Neck versions of the Trilogy Suites, or are they simply the exact same pickup?
Will the Holydiver Bridge work well with the Trilogy Suites Middle and Neck?
Should I be adding the "Zinc Plated Steel Plate" to both the Middle and Neck Trilogy Suites?

The baseplates will add more bottom end. The question is, do you want more bottom end in the neck and middle positions? Personally I find those positions can be quite bassy in themselves, so it might be overkill. But basically I think you are on the right track. Maybe send BKP an email asking for their opinions on the pros and cons of adding baseplates.
HD +TS +TS is a nice combo.

Bridge yes, middle and neck can get quite boomy. Those TS are already quite ballsy compared to the vintage(hot) BKP single coils.
And what Dave already said: HD and TS complement each other.

Thanks for the great replies. Makes sense to me. I'm leaning on not going with the plates since these will only be used in the middle and neck positions. before I place my order, I'll speak with someone at BKP and see what their recommendations are.

Always good to throw a mail or phonecall at the BKP-team. Keep us informed.

The HD & Trilogy is a great combination and I really appreciate when Tim offered the Custom-Wind!

What was the custom wind you ordered?

Does BKP still do custom winds? I believe they stopped with it a few years ago.

I think you are right.
They simply don't have time to do them these days

It's been five years since I installed the Holy Divers in my Charvel, I had some spec's and Tim knew what I was looking for (Change to the wire size/Resistance and potting) Great sounding pickups..... through my BE-100 goofing around solo.
