Title: Need Pickup Advice

I'm considering replacing EMG 81's in 2 of my Les Pauls. I'm just wondering if the Warpig would be a good choice? should i go Ceramic or Alnico?

I play tuned down 1 Whole step to "D" & i play Hardcore Music in the Vein of Agnostic Front, Terror & Madball.

I was also at one time considering the Black Dogs since Joey from L.O.A. Uses one in his V.

I have an alnico Warpig set in an SG tuned to D and it was good for that kind of thing.

In a Les Paul you might also want to consider the alnico Nailbomb for that style, besides the Black Dog and Warpig.

Thank you! I was considering the nailbomb too. I just really want a Warmer but aggressive tone....with out using EMG's for the 2 guitars i mentioned.
