Title: Warmoth Tom DeLonge Strat
Post by: williampsharp on April 03, 2019, 07:27:46 PM
I've been looking at building a Warmoth Strat replica of Tom Delonge's strat from Blink 182 days.
Guitar specs:

I know that he used a single Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge, but there is a part of me that just loves my Bare Knuckle Pickups more than any of my other pickups. I currently have a set of Nailbombs in my Les Paul and they sound killer.

I love the pop/punk sounds from bands like Blink 182, New Found Glory, Sum 41, etc. My amps are a Mesa Mini Rec and a Marshall DSL 40CR.

What is the BKP equivalent of the SD Invader? Based on the info above, would I fall in love with the equivalent of the Invader or should I be looking at a different pickup?

Jon Poulin used to be a regular on here, has done a heap of BKP videos on youtube, and is obsessed with Tom DeLonge's sound.  I suggest you check out his channel.

If you do a search on his page for a pickup name you should come up with stuff.  For example, 'crawler' gave me this:
