I recently purchased a Gibson 59 reissue ES 345. The person I bought it from had put in SD antiquities. I find that these pick ups are quite bright and not as "full" sounding as I would like. I could actually live with the Neck pick up however the bridge is not doing it for me. I adjusted pick up height, pole piece height, settings on amp guitar etc. I cannot find that sweet spot. I plug into a DR Z Antidote and play classic rock, blues etc. My main guitar is a Les Paul Custom with a Crawler in the Bridge and a P 90 Mississippi Queen in the Neck position, lots of grind, bell like chime and very full tones. I am looking for suggestions as to what pick ups might help to beef up the sound on the ES 345 without creating a bunch of feedback.
Thanks,

I guess VHII's or Black Dogs should work fine
But you should e-mail BKP

If you are used to the Crawler, anything low to medium output will sound less big. Besides that, an ES guitar is brighter and snappier than a LP. I think Black Dog, maybe Abraxas, could do it, however when it comes to me, I would install Mules in such a guitar. But then again, they could be a little to present in the topend for you.
