I currently have 5 guitars with BKP pickup sets in but must have bought twice that number over the years. Why? Because I'll often love a set, then fall out of love with it, sell and then end up buying another set of the same pickups because I realised that I actually quite liked them. Over the years I've done this with Mules, Rebel Yells (which I then sold again - for a second time) and almost did it with my Nailbombs (which I ended up keeping and actually buying another set for another guitar in a different tuning). I've also recently bought a Riff Raff set which I had doubts about at first, and almost sent back in exchange for a 3rd Nail Bomb set, but decided to keep and am now loving (well, for now anyway). So I was wondering, is it just me or do other people go through the same thing?

It's you :grin: No, I think we all have this with gear. We like to change things, but in the end we go back to our favourite combo's. I haven't change much gear the last years. I'm happy with my guitars, my BKP's and my amps (Rockerverb MKI 50 head and Diezel Schmidt).
