Title: The nasty, ill tempered Abraxas
Post by: fdesalvo on June 02, 2019, 04:25:28 AM
Drums are a little hot in the mix. Will fix it later. Retracked into a boosted 5150 and single rectifier using diff cabs.

Nasty for sure, but great sound. I like the way you keep the wah between dark and edge. Very musical.

Thank you. my man. I love the effect, too. A trusty auto wah.  Really helps solos cut through a dense mix, too. The solo is slower than some of my others, so it also helped give it a bit of movement and ended up making it sound a bit more expressive. I’ve leaned on it pretty hard on a few tracks.

How you’ve been well!

Yeah, I use the way like this in live situations a lot, exactly to cut through the mix.

Oh dear, what a bad sentence....
