Sam I know you are young (ala not working/making a wage) but I would say 400 for it (inc. pedal) being half price would be a steal (as would buy it now actually), and although I am NOT a gambler, am sure you could sell it (if heaven forbid you did'nt like it) for same or more.
Anyway, sorry to curse your day :) just thought it looked a great deal and did'nt know where you were in your cash vs. stuff left to sell stakes

yeah...

just remember, it could shoot up, so don't get too excited...

i think the screamer head is 50 watt, by the way (not that 10 watts would make any difference...)

yer i wondered why it said 60 lol... yer dave it probably will shoot up.. but still... a screamer with footswitch for £550 buy it now!!!?!??!?!?! thats like only £50 more than a brand new Thunder with no footswitch!?!?!

but yeah, to get the footswitch with it, it's like £700 for the amp, and around £120 for the switch (that's street, not retail)- i assume you could probably get it for £800 new.

so yeah, good deal, if it's not too beaten up, lol.

it also might be worthwhile asking what speaker is in it- i think the older ones had celestion 70/80's, while the newer ones have vintage 30's (better!).

EDIT: i think machinehead have a second hand screamer- if memory serves, it's £600, minus the footswitch (i assume).

Also, even though I am moving back to the UK for LESS than joyous reasons, with my folks an all, I AM darned excited now to get a "real" amp!!!!!!!!!!

Know what, if I was there now with $$$ in hand, I WOULD buy a Blackmore head sight/sound unseen/heard :)

You know what config./name cab they are doing with the "greenback" speakers in Dave?

anyway, i have no idea about the greenback cab- i know yoeri said engl had it out at the frankfurt musicmesse, so dear knows when it'll be released (they had the invader there too, so that might give you some idea...)
